About

The original website was established by the late Sir Andrew Sloan, and his brother Bill Sloan, to support the HMS Euryalus Association. Sir Andrew Sloan was president of the HMS Euryalus Association for many years.

The website has gone through a number of changes particularly following the dissolution of the HMS Euryalus Association in June 2012. You can see how the website developed by clicking Archived Update History and the latest updates to the website by clicking Update History.

Even though the HMS Euryalus Association no longer exists, the website will remain up and running and continue to promote the aims and values of the website mission statement:

The endeavour of this website is to keep alive the history of
HMS Euryalus, to share in the memories and learn about the
history of the six ships who carried the name Euryalus.
